Notice of consultation on the subject and scope of the East Hampshire new draft Local Plan
In accordance with Regulation 18 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012, the Council is consulting on the East Hampshire District draft new Local Plan. The new Local Plan 2017-2036 provides a policy framework for planning and development for the areas of the district that lie outside the South Downs National Park.
The draft new Local Plan is available for public consultation for a period of six weeks between 5 February 2019 and 5pm 19 March 2019.
The Council invites you to make representations in regards of the scope, subject and contents of the draft new Local Plan.
The Council has prepared a guide, 'the draft Local Plan made easy' to explain and summarise the draft Local Plan, and to provide information on how to respond to the consultation.
All consultation documents and comment forms are available on the Council's website (www.easthants.gov.uk/localplan), including information about the 10 drop in sessions being run across the District during the consultation period. Hard copies of key consultation documents can be viewed at the deposit locations, and the drop in sessions.
